It is so great to read about a business acting responsibly and installing solar. I know there are great rebates for your personal home and from what I have been reading, the rebates and incentives for businesses are even better. I have read a business can put in a system for almost 50% of what it normally costs because of all the savings. Is this true? Where can you find out more about these programs for businesses?

Hey anonymous. You can find the information you are seeking with two of the sponsors of the Bob's Big Boy Solar makeover. They are Canadian Solar and Helio Power. I looked them up from the bottom of this page. I also know that you can contact your local power supplier for local discounts and rebates.

I checked out both helio and Canadian solar and was really impressed. They made the whole process seem easier than I thought to do. I also checked with my local power provider, as you suggested, and I'm really stoked about the rebates they have available. I have to admit I was putting, thinking about this issue, off until some later date but all of this has really made me look at my own attitude and to be more eco friendly. Thank you so much.
I totally understand about putting it off. The total cost of initial setup and be overwhelming. Thats why its great to know about rebates. I think most of us want to do what is right to help our world but money is always a consideration and worry. Kudos to you for doing the research and keeping your mind open to the possibilities.
I checked out canadian solar and helio power and I was amazed. I have told my grandparents and other close family how Bob's Big Boy is going through these two companies and that was a great selling point. My grandparents are actually considering going green and going solar. Like I've said before Bob's is smart for going with these two great companies. Bob's isn't only smart they are generous also. Did anyone know that Bob's Big Boy sponsores Habitat for Humanity? I think that is so awesome and it really shows how genuine Bob really is.
yonahzmama you bet! I love the way Bob's does things. They are committed to their local community and partner up with great companies as well. I just wish there were more businesses out there like them.
