"Bob's Big Boy will celebrate its 60th birthday by throwing a special "Sixty and Solar" ceremony and sock hop celebration Thusday, Sept. 24 to dedicate the restaurant's new solar power system at the oldest remaining Bob's Big Boy in the United States, 4211 Riverside Drive, Burbank.
The solar dedication of the new 26 kW Canadian Solar photovoltaic panel will start at 11 a.m. and will include a dedication of the solar power system by business, community, entertainment and government leaders followed by lunch.
Sock hop celebration will go from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with sock hop and dancing featuring the music of Captain Cardiac
and the Coronaries..."
