"LOS ANGELES - August 24, 2009: So many of us grew up with Bob's Big Boy, the iconic L.A. burger drive thru and car hop service so closely associated with Southern California in the 1950s. Today, Big Boy is celebrating his 60th birthday by going green.

Bob's Big Boy will celebrate its 60th birthday by throwing a special "Sixty and Solar" ceremony and sock hop celebration Thusday, Sept. 24 to dedicate the restaurant's new solar power system at the oldest remaining Bob's Big Boy in the United States, 4211 Riverside Drive, Burbank.

I just watched the Ellen video about Bob's. It was hilarious! I wonder if she is going to be at Bob's for their 60th Anniversary and the solar conversion. It would be so cool if she did. Maybe if we all went to her site and told her how much we would like to see this she just might do another Bob's segment. Let's do it!!!
